Bali is an instagrammers paradise, and you’ll find no shortage of insta-worthy opportunities while exploring La Laguna in Canggu. It is now famous for it’s social media savviness and has caught the eye of many photographer’s looking to snap a picture in this bohemian utopia. This restaurant has a multitude of pseudonyms. Lounge, sunset spot, beach bar, lawn hang out, a real life mixture of Fern Gully meets Hansel and Gretel..it’s all the things.

Dinner areas
It’s all in the details at La Laguna. From the embroidery on the placemats and napkins to the hand painted posts and reserved signs, it really is a sight for sore eyes. I wanted to steal all the decor and turn my apartment into a boho chic oasis.
Outdoor Seating
Choose from eating inside, out on the patio, on the lawn, or on the boardwalk leading to the beach. My favorite place was the lawn, with beautiful hanging lights and bean bag chairs. However, the outdoor seating right on the water would be the perfect place to watch the sun go down and hang out with a big group or a significant other.
La Laguna is HUGE! There are several different areas to sit, so make sure you specify what you would like when you make a reservation.
Sunset at La Laguna
Bali is known for great food, nice locals, and EPIC sunsets. La Laguna is the one of the best places to watch the sun go down while sipping on a cocktail or two. The beach out front is relatively quiet for sunset, so you are able to take it all in and get some great pictures without a crowd of people in the front.

Getting to La Laguna
I would take a bluebird taxi or go-jek. If you don’t plan on having too many cocktails, you can scooter over there as well. La Laguna is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the heart of Canggu, and about 10-15 minutes from Seminyak.
I hope this has given you some inspiration to make the trek over to La Laguna on your next trip to Bali. It’s such a great place to unwind from a day of exploring and take in all the best things Bali has to offer.
