Paris, je t’aime. I’ll admit, my first trip to Paris was a bit of a disaster. I was 19, had no money, stayed a million miles out of town, and I remember complaining about the smell and a whole lotta stairs. Fast forward 10 years later, and my most recent trip to the city of love was pure magic.
I believe Paris is best experienced when you have a local to show you around, room in your budget for a few memorable dining experiences, and when you visit with someone special. All of these factors made our four days one of the best travel weekends to date. Scroll for snapshots from my trip, and recommendations for places to visit!
Spend the afternoon sipping rose at Le Nemours before checking out Palais Royal.
Lunch at La Palette is a must. Go for the burrata alone.
Snap some fun photos at Palais Royal
Dinner at Clamato! Amazing seafood
If you’re looking for a hotel, look no further than The Hoxton
Pick up some chocolate escargot pastries from Du pain et des Idées
I recommend admiring the Eiffel tower from afar. There were WAY too many vendors and people underneath it.
Crepes at Breizh Cafe near Picasso Museum If you love wine, visit Cave a Vins for some of the best natural wine around
Pop into Merci concept store for a souvenir like this amazing vintage suitcase (right)
Hope you enjoyed these snapshots of Paris and it encouraged you to add it to your bucket list! Check out my 3 Days in Paris post for all the details on where to eat and things to do!
