Planning a trip to Palm Springs and want to bring your furry friend along? I know animals can make it stressful to organize travel, but Palm Springs is one of the most accommodating destinations when it comes to pets.  Below I’ve outlined the best pet-friendly hotels in Palm Springs, categorized by budget and style, including their restrictions and costs per animal.

Budget Pet-Friendly Hotels:

The Best Western Inn Palm Springs allows two pets up to 40 lbs for an additional $20 per night. Dogs and cats are permitted but they cannot be left in the room unattended. There are lots of pathways and parks near the hotel, as well as hikes and trails.

Caliente Tropics Resort

Caliente Tropics Resort allows two pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. They allow both dogs and cats in all rooms except for the Tahitian Room, so make sure you call ahead and let them know you will be bringing animals. Caliente Tropics allow you to leave your pets in the room unattended for short periods of time. There is a large garden area on the property for pet use.

La Quinta Resort Palm Springs

When researching this article, I was blown away at how many great hotels are pet-friendly in Palm Springs. You are not sacrificing a lesser hotel just because you want to bring your pet. Just be mindful what time of year you choose to visit. Palm Springs can get extremely hot in the summer, and I’d advise against visiting with pets during that time. I wrote an article all about the best time to visit, including my favorite months, fun events to plan around and average temperatures through the seasons.

Still hunting for the perfect hotel? Here are my favorite hotels in Downtown Palm Springs for couples, there are a few that overlap so you can get the best of both worlds!
